Group Projects

Over the past few years my turning club has planned, built and donated several group projects.  These group projects start out as a planning exercise and turn into very unique woodworking masterpieces.  Over a period of 4 months the club members come together and build the group project during the weekends.  Once the project is completed we donate the piece to a regional symposium.  At the symposium the group project is auctioned off to the highest bidder and all proceeds are donated to a scholarship fund, which allows wood turners to attend training to further their woodworking skills.
