Before the Windsor Chair (BWC)- Shaving Horse Project

I have done some carving projects over the years, and always wanted to make a shaving horse, in order to do some of the larger projects that were on my bucket list.  I found the shaving horse class up at John C Campbell Folk School, taught by Tommy Boyd and went up and had a great weekend building the project.  I actually took the completed shaving horse up to John C Campbell Folk School and took the Windsor chair class with Tommy Boyd.  It was great to use the shaving horse which I had crafted by my own hands to make the Windsor chair.  Many an hour was spent sitting on the shaving horse with a draw knife cutting the spindles for the Windsor chair project!
